Nostalgia ver.1 (diskettes and art)

HELLO!!!!

I found something interesting.

And since I was still logged in on my blog, I decided to post about it :D

I hope this lets me earn more money?

HAHAHA

*I wish I could hide above hidden msgs; but sadly I can't... but it's okay 'cause I'm open-minded like that*

While cleaning up my drawer, I found these diskettes:

!!!!!

COOL OR WHAT?

(Actually I knew they were dumped in my drawer--
but didn't bother them until today)

I think they're cool 'cause I found out...

MY PC DOES NOT HAVE A DISKETTE SLOT THINGEY!!!

which means...

THEY DON'T EXIST ANYMORE!?!?

I did a quick drawing of my PC to prove myself (as if it helps):

See---

It looks like a face of a robot!

You cannot find the diskette slot anywhere!

I see behind the PC also tak ada (don't have).
*as if they would even think of putting it there, right? - so stupid.

I believe those diskettes were used when I was in school doing those tough art assignments that tortured us like no-tomorrow...

(!) AWAS:

because topic will start changing to... art

......right......

...about...

NOW ↓

I don't have any of my art though;;
because they are stolen kept in school.

Below is one of the ways they tortured us for art.

*unfinished work*

Then they will ask you to do the above in different tools (we call it mixed medias):

- Colour pencils
- Water colour
- Oil pastels
etc.

*I think it had to be at least 6 different effects.

So one project would contain 2 types of arts:
-still life (A3)
and
-graphic design (double A3).

<ranting time>
WITH LOTS AND LOTS OF ART PAPER
WITH NO SLEEP
A LOT OF SCOLDING
ENERGY LOSS
@#(*$@(!
</ranting time>

UGH.., hated art (subject) although I love drawing.

...But now when I think of it;
I sort of miss it- haha.

Also... what the heck is wrong with those oranges and lemons lol
They look so weird-! haha
I wonder how old was I when I drew that...
Makes me wish I could go back in time.

To end this post, I would just like to say:

TIME FLIES.

and the world is ending (I think).

Blogging Books

In order to earn some side $$ I gotta be more hardworking-
and post something here.
...also because I already promised colleagues that I will post.

I stumbled upon my photobucket today because when I think of this blog; I think of my previous blog that was SO successful..

UNTIL

windows live couldn't handle me;

they decided to close down.

After that, I didn't feel like blogging anymore 'cause I felt some loss.

While thinking about my old blog; I remember that windows live didn't have a good feature for uploading photos like over here; hence I always used Photobucket to get the HTML link and edit/upload it on my blog.
*see, I was so hardworking to even edit my blog via HTML codes! I must have been so free*

Thinking about that, I wondered if my Photobucket account was still alive? Since I haven't been logging in for the past... no-idea-how-many-years.

AND..!

I managed to log in!

*Click HERE to view my library.*

Browsing through, I manage to get some ideas of what to post.

See, now I posted something already :D

Thanks for reading!

Next post shall be as random as this!

.......

...

Just kidding~

I'll post about one of the best books that I've read.

It's [Tuesdays with Morrie] ← clicking on the link will send you to Wiki.

I purchased this book I think about 2~3 years ago.

**above photo can also be viewed in my Photobucket account**

The title of the book may sound dull to some-
but...
"don't read the book by it's cover", right? ;)

This book is non-fictional; so the story is a true experience by the author (Mitch Albom).
And as stated on the cover, it taught the young me the lessons of life.

HAHAHA *sorry, suddenly got tempted to use this meme.

Anyways...,

Back to the book.

Below are some of the topics that it covers:

*please don't see below image if you don't want mild spoiler*

*too bad if you saw; but didn't want to*

And to be honest; this is probably the first book EVER- that have made me tear.

...SERIOUS!

I felt some tears dropping from my eyes towards the end of the book :'(

Not because it was a sad story;
but it was really touching-

Okay, you guys probably imagining me crying like:

But that is over exaggerated.

It was more like:

...

I don't want to spoil much for those who are planning to read.

So I'll just give a simple summary:

Please read HERE.

*because it was too long to copy paste.

CREDITS TO THE OWNERS YAH!
**and I pray that those links I posted here won't go down..!

The book [Tuesdays with Morrie] by Mitch Albom is a truly good book and I recommend it to everyone and anyone!

Useless Facts:

*after reading this book, Mitch Albom has become one of Yuyi's favourite author and purchased other books such as [The Five People You Meet in Heaven] and [Have a Little Faith] which were also good.

The above titles may sound like some religious book; but trust me they are not bias to any faith or anything like that. So don't worry, I'm not trying to convert anyone to anything.. because I have other ways for that.

Malacca Trip! (2012)

Because a promise is a promise...

Here's a blog post on my trip to Malacca with my colleagues!

Malacca is a state located south from Kuala Lumpur which takes about an hour or so drive..? (sorry, I wasn't the one driving so I didn't really bother how long was the journey :p)

Malacca is well known for being the 'historical state'; and for further information, you may refer to our best friend: "Wikipedia" *link below

I sort of forgot when did we go.. but thanks to the ticket bought (seen below), I remember now! we went on the 19th August 2012 ho ho.

It was a public holiday and...

please take my advice.

never...

and I mean, NEVER,

N E V E R

E V E R

go there on a public holiday!

First of all, you'll regret because:

- no parking
- no food
- no time
- super jam

and,

you probably wouldn't be able to enjoy anything at all.

There's just sooo many people!
*sorry, I have no interest in taking human pictures everywhere all over the street so the above was the only one I have.

.....

But of course, I'm not saying you shouldn't go.

It was just an advice... but if you still intend to go, then please do...
and all I can say is: Good luck :) !

...

Anyways, we arrived there at [I-forgot-what-time].
And the first thing we did was shop for souvenirs?

After that, we wandered around looking for what to eat (I think we wanted to have late lunch).

But ended up that all the stalls were either full or had no more food.
Mind you, I'm not exaggerating. There seriously was NO food to eat everywhere we go. How sad is that :( !?

So since we were starving, we had:

It tasted good :)
made with authentic milk made in Malacca (I think).

And also another thing which is like popiah...(?) I forgot; but seems like I didn't take a photo of that so too bad.

Next, we...

just walked around the street. Nothing much to write here; so please enjoy the photos :) I believe they are in sequence:

Below pictures are taken NOT in malacca; but I forgot where (but it's on the way back to Kuala Lumpur):

Below is the magnet that will be stuck on my fridge :)
